It's funny how much you lose sight of all your dreams that aren't related to having children. If someone asks, all I think is "my dream is to be a mom!" At this juncture, it's really easy for me to say that I would give up my tattoo career for the opportunity to be a mother. I can barely focus on day to day tasks because I want with my entire being to have children.
But in talking with some gals that have proceeded to move on to a childless living, they were talking about pursuing all the other dreams that were put on hold or that they had planned on doing later in life when their kids had grown. Part of me was envious (and even sad) because I can hardly remember my other dreams.
